A Perfectly Sweet Treat // Baked Banana Chips //

I'm picky about what I put in my body. And I mean, we should be. But what I'm saying is, I require the perfectly ripe banana or it goes in the freezer for banana bread at a later date. That is until I found this recipe....They're sweet, easy to make, and are a win for all the moms and snackers out there.

// Ingredients

  • 2 overripe bananas

  • non-stick cooking spray

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp water

  • cinnamon

  • kosher salt

// Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200F.

  2. Slice bananas thinly - keeping in mind they will shrink slightly. Place on baking sheet with parchment paper and sprayed with cooking spray.

  3. Stir together water and lemon juice and brush over banana slices.

  4. Lightly sprinkle with cinnamon and salt, turn over and repeat.

  5. Bake for 90 minutes, flip, and bake for another 30 minutes. Cool, and enjoy.

**Tip: the longer you let them cool the crispier they will become.

Enjoy my people!
